BASIC FEATURES:

1. MDS 1 has got a new, user-friendly layout of the design program.

2. MDS offers individual command columns for different functions, like e.g. speed, stitch length for cylinder and dial control, take-down, synchronized respectively delayed timing and striper finger.

3. The drawing of the patterns can be made via codes (knitting info) as well as also via colours.

4. When a pattern is ready to be knitted, control through a test function which comprises the yarn supply of the entire pattern including setups like speed, take-down etc. according to point 2 is possible.

5. Various modules can be brought together to one pattern.
- Examples:

Module Init  =  Border 1:1; 2:2; 3:2 etc.
Module Last =  changeover pattern from border to jacquard and    vice-versa
Module 0    =  2-colour jacquard
Module 1    =  4-colour jacquard
etc.

6. Extensive control functions like e.g. tuck besides knit, tuck besides tuck and tuck on top of one another. In case of incorrectness, failure-oriented warning notices are displayed.

7. The individual machine types to be run with MDS 1 are lodged with own functions, diameter and needle number as well as rhythm, and patterns as well as striping functions are edited accordingly. Automatically!

Data and facts:

The transfer of the data to the machine is either carried out through Ethernet or USB stick.

The design program for the generation and the editing of patterns and the conversion of the data works with the data formats bmp. and dac.
