With its D4 machines, Mayer & Cie. is opening up scope for extreme knitting productivity. Featuring a new production concept, a high degree of standardization and material optimization, D4 machines are capable of achieving substantial savings.
The D4-2.2 has everything it takes for optimum knitting quality also in conjunction with elastomer plating. Scope for extension to up to 4 needle tracks lends it an outstanding degree of flexibility.
Flexibility plus high performance.
With all the possibilities opened up by 4 needle tracks in cylinder and 2 needle tracks in dial, the D4-2.2 is capable of knitting the whole range of popular double jersey interlock and rib structures. The cylinder and dial can be quickly and reliably removed and exchanged with “Quick Change”. The machine’s impressive output is generated by 2.2 feeders per inch (66 feeders at 30”) and a speed of 1,49 m/s (37 rpm at 30”).
The fabric takedown, featuring a deflection winder mechanism and MCT trapezoidal spreader, is designed for fabric bales of up to 480 mm in diameter. A folding device is offered as an optional extra.
