The most important aspect on the day of the celebrations was the weather but we were very lucky, the rain clouds were gone and our event had every chance of being a success – which it was. Several thousand visitors including employees and their families, retired colleagues and of course people from the town of Albstadt came to the company grounds in Tailfingen.

The Sabalan Parcheh textile plant currently undergoing construction in Ardabil in Northern Iran near the Caspian Sea will be among the biggest textile corporations anywhere in the Middle East. The new Basic-Line series is designed to round off the bottom end of the versatile Mayer & Cie. circular knitting machine range. The first model to emerge from this new machine series is the S4-3.2 single jersey machine, due to be presented to the public for the first time at the Shanghai-Tex at the beginning of June.
