Open width in an industrial-size frame: Mayer & Cie. launches new frame for fabric rolls up to 600 mm.
While open-width frames from Mayer & Cie. have previously been designed to accommodate a 300 mm fabric roll, the company has now extended its range to offer an industrial-scale machine frame with open-width device for rolls up to 600 mm. This industrial frame is available for all Mayer & Cie. single and double jersey machines in a variety of diameters, with the exception of the OVJA 1.1. TTRB.

As is true of all Mayer & Cie. open-width devices, the industrial frame is characterized by even takedown and winding on without distorting the fabric. The electronically controlled EPA fabric takedown permits 100% positive fabric handling action which ensures even take-down and wind-on over the entire width of the fabric, reliably preventing both fabric creases and distortion. Fabric takedown can be set at the machine display and is consequently reproducible at any time. Gentle action and precise cutting is ensured by a power driven continuously self-sharpening blade. Here too, absolute reproduction accuracy is ensured by the use of a graduated scale for setting to the relevant fabric width.
