Comprehensive training facilities at Mayer & Cie.
Major extension to the MSL Training Centre.

The scope for even greater productivity from a Mayer & Cie. high-tech circular knitting machine is enormous - provided the user has the know-how necessary to make the most of those all-important reserves. A major factor in the ability to offer an efficient aftersales service is the excellent training program offered at Mayer & Cie. by Mayer Service-und-Leasing-GmbH (MSL). The newly extended Training Centre in Albstadt in the Federal Republic of Germany offers scope both for individual training and also group trainee programs. Experience gained to date clearly shows that the financial outlay for travelling expenses is quickly redeemed by the practical implementation of know-how gained through training and the resulting improvements in production efficiency. The training course participants are usually completely surprised to discover the wide range of products that can be knitted on a modern Mayer & Cie. circular knitting machine. Which is why, as the knitting experts see it, investment in training quickly takes on a new perspective relative to the benefits gained.

This was the experience of sixteen training course participants from different parts of Indonesia who completed a two-week training program in Albstadt in May. The owners, sons of owners and managers of knitting factories formed a competent and receptive audience of specialists for the MSL training personnel. Two representatives of Mayer & Cie. Indonesia also formed part of the team. And as there was scope for some fun along the way, the fortnight was not only valuable but entertaining too, as the members of the team got to know each other. All in all, optimum foundations were laid for even closer cooperation in the future to the benefit of all those involved.
